I had a conversation with someone yesterday about how "negative" we tend to be. Even if negative words aren't spoken but the thoughts are there, does that make us negative? YES! The good news is, we can change how we think! The more we concentrate on gratitude and the positive, the more our thinking will lean toward the positive... It will become second nature as we put into practice what Philippians 4:8, 9 Says, " summing it all up, friends, I'd say you'll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies".
Day 9
~ “Both abundance and lack exist simultaneously in our lives, as parallel realities. It is always our conscious choice which secret garden we will tend… when we choose not to focus on what is missing from our lives but are grateful for the abundance that’s present — love, health, family, friends, work, the joys of nature and personal pursuits that bring us pleasure — the wasteland of illusion falls away and we experience Heaven on earth.” –Sarah Ban Breathnach~

Day 9
Take a "thought inventory" and see what thoughts you think on a regular basis. Do your thoughts need to be adjusted? If you lean toward stinking thinking, counter act those thoughts with positive ones. Be cognizant of what your are thinking and why... The "why" could be an entire blog by itself, with insecurities and a wounded heart, being at the top of the list for stinking thinking. Write down 9 things you are grateful for.
